On our holiday in Sri Lanka, we stayed for three days in the city of Colombo.
We went to this park near a University were local artists sell their paintings on the street. We bought one and had it removed from the frame, rolled & placed on a tube container and took it back to Dubai.
Because of this we had to fix up one area of the living room to put up the painting. We bought this white modern - rustic console from Marina Exotic Home Interiors. Placed the Krishna sculpture (also from Sri Lanka) on top of the console with the antique head of a Chinese man that Chief bought from Singapore.
Of course our photos on one side :)

Marina showcases a few nice modern furniture pieces. It's one place we go to as designers to look for unique things.
Branches of the shop can be found at Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Mirdif City Center, etc. Pay them a visit one of these days :)
