Bose Soundlink Mini Bluetooth Speakers is the Bomb!

I'm a music lover. It runs in the family. Last Christmas, my brother was so eager to get a portable tiny speaker from Bose. He was describing how small it was and knowing Bose as one of the best for sound system, I got curious. Since our holiday stay in the US was quite short, I was already back in Dubai when they went to Bose to get his speakers. In short, I didn't get to see it.  Back in Dubai while roaming around Virgin, Chief and I saw the speakers and we decided to check it out. When the salesman demonstrated the speaker, we were impressed! We ended up buying one for us.  The package contents.. and to give you an idea of the size.. The package contains a box with different types of adapter heads to change your standard american plug charger to suit your needs depending on your location or even when travelling. Charging is a breeze with the dock charging unit that comes with it.. You can place it anywhere you please and simply dock your s...

Dubai International Boat show and Crocs!

hey everyone! It has been a while and I really hope my blogging mojo is back. Gone through tough weeks which made me lose interest in whatever I do. Only a human!  But the good thing is here I am!!!! YAY! We were invited by a friend to see the International Boat Show in Dubai. Their company were sponsors. Apart from that, Chief loves boats!  He even had this crazy idea of us living in a boat!! I told him.. hmm.. that would be quite difficult because we have to get a very big boat then.. WHY??!!  How can all my clothes, shoes accessories fit in there?! and he said.. oh! that's tough! lol!  Anyway, we have been going in the last two years and it is fun. One thing Chief and I had in common is a dream of owning a boat (more like a yacht for me hehehe..)  Image Courtesy of  Google locations for parking are indicated on the image below Image Courtesy of  Google Apart from seeing the exhibition we were there to support two sets of ...

Going Back to Reading

For a person who love to read, it is normal to have books on your bedside table.  Mine looks like this.. I've actually taken a pause on my reading for a while and I want to finish all the ones I have started to start off with new ones.. Apart from Hyperspace and 2312 (Chief's books which our maid misplaced -- probably because his side is full lol!) all the books you see on the above photo I have started reading. Weird. I know!  I can actually read books at the same time as long as the type of plot are different..So there I have a Historical Romance, Thriller, Fictional Romance, etc.. Let's go through them one by one.. 1. The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand A must read for all Architects. I love this book so much. The way Ayn Rand writes her story is something I like so much. This was recommended to me by Chief. He thought I might love it. I must admit that this book is inspiring for me as an Architect. 2. Seduction by Design - Sandra Brown This is the...

Reflecting on the year 2013 Part 02

April, May, June, July was all concentrated on getting back on shape - health wise. So I was doing all the checkups and treatments. Also Went back to work.  I wanted to give up my stressful job then and find a less stressful one only to realize that there is no such thing. My company gave me a reasonable raise, and more managerial responsibilities to convince me to stay. I gave it some thought, and also for my love for my job I decided to stay.  At least with my current company they already know my capabilities and the history of my health so there's more consideration.  August we had a holiday in Sri Lanka of which I have shared  here  and  here . It was a last minute decision that we are very glad we did which led us to the discovery of this beautiful country. We Climbed up Sigiriya.. Our Hotel in Kandy.. The Safari Experience.. September was back to work briefly til it was time for Eid Al Adha October was Eid Al Adha Celebratio...
