MAC Studio Fix has been my HG foundation for the last 5years.  I’ve finished bottles and bottles of this baby. As we all know, MAC has one of the best color selection for foundations. I’m NC37 btw and because all foundations oxidize on me, it initially applies lighter on my skin and perfectly blends after a while. This foundation finishes demi-matte on my skin. It has medium coverage which is buildable and I have tried spot concealing with this baby. But, I have to say after a while, the foundation melts and blends on your skin, the camouflaged spots will show up. I was suggested initially to do this method by the SA but it did not work on my oily skin. Remember my unpleasant experience at Mirdif City Center branch of Sephora? I wrote an entry about it which you can read here . Because of that i went to the Dubai Mall branch to do my regular Sephora visit. By the way, I went back to the MCC branch again to give them the benefit of the doubt and there was this lady, I asked her if they had Stila products and she answered: "what Stila? i don't know that" in a very rude and shooing way.. was really rude.. By then I had enough of giving the benefit of the doubt on that store and I just stepped out. Rude people work on that store and I am never going back in there EVER! I was even thinking then when I was walking away from the store that I should have answered her and said "What?? You work for Sephora and you don't know Stila??" I dont know what kind of sales people they hire on that branch. Oh well..they just lost one buying customer. Anyway, my visit to Sephora Dubai Mall paved way to these beautiful thing...

A trip to the pharmacy paved way to my discovery of Gosh Cosmetics  from Denmark. I was supposed to get medicine when i was intrigued by the beauty section of  Boots Miridf City Center. Of course my curiosity led to buying and here are the things I got.. The CC Cream Illuminating foundation.. What I like about this CC cream is it's lightness on the skin. It gives a dewy moisturized finish with SPF 10.  Here are the swatches.. My bare hands without anything.. and here's with the applied CC Foundation.. see the glowing dewy finish? It blends well on the skin.. Coverage of course is not heavy compared to regular foundation. It aims to make your skin look fresh and glowing.  I also tried their bronzer.. what I like about this bronzer is the pigmentation. *UPDATE 29/03/2014 I've been using this palette for a week and with a good primer and makeup base, this baby works well. Some colors maybe disappointing but its okay. I recommend this palette if you have extra moolah to spend when you want something new. Cheers! 23/03/2014 I have to share my unpleasant experience at Sephora Mirdif City Center. For frequent visitors of Sephora, you know how their staff are very welcoming and helpful the instant you enter their store. This is normal in any Sephora based on my visits in several stores here in Dubai-UAE, New York, New Jersery, and Philadelphia in the US.  On this particular shop at Mirdif City Center (my second visit a this shop)  as I entered he store, no one approached to assist me even when I started checking out the products. At that point I thought.. wait a minute this is not normal...am I really at Sephora??   I waited and continued checking the products .. and waited more..but nothing! I started questionin...
