Hey guys! What's up with everyone? How's summer treating you so far?  This may be the best season for other countries because of the opportunity to do more activities outside without battling rain or cold. It is quite the opposite here in middle east. Summer is difficult when you live in a desert. It gets scorching hot!!!!  This is the time when we spend more time indoors to protect ourselves from the heat.  This is why I've been doing a lot of baking!!!  I've always loved baking since I was young. I remember the weekends when my mom would ask me to bake something that we can have as a snack for afternoon weekends. [ARchicTECT Baking Adventure #02] Comfort from Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Comfort food anyone?? I baked Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies today. I've been baking these babies since I don't remember. But the last time I did .... I couldn't either! Anyway, here's the recipe: 2 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour (sifted) 1Tsp. Salt 1 Tsp. Baking Soda 1 Cup Butter (2 Sticks) 2 Large  Eggs 3/4 Brown Sugar 3/4 White Sugar 1 Tsp. Vanila Extract 2 Cups Chocolate Chip Morsels (Nestle Semi- Sweet / Hershey's Milk Chocolate Morsels) 1. Mix Flour, Salt and Baking Soda (sifted) in one bowl 2. On a separate bowl mash melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar 3. Add eggs one at a time on butter mix til all ingredients are all mixed well 4. Mix the dry ingredients with the creamy mixture gradually 5. Add 2 Cups of Chocolate Morsels 6. Refrigerate for an hour or two 7. Heat up the oven to 375 deg. Fahrenheit / 190 deg. Celsius 8. [ARchicTECT Baking Adventure #01] Chicken Pie Baking Experience

I apologize for the lack of posts. Been very busy since I reported back to work after my life episode and Chief's father was with us, he flew in from Italy for a few days and our schedule was so hectic. Finally, a peaceful weekend of just Chief and myself. We bummed at home and did a marathon of old black and white sci-fi movies. Chief's addicted to sci-fi movies specially the old ones, you should see our DVD library.. we've got hard to find movies dating early 1900's! He introduced me to sci-fi movie genre. Of course bumming made us hungry and I thought of making some Chicken Pie. I've wanted to try to make it for a long time.. years I may say.. and finally did it! So we went to get some stuff at the grocery and I started baking. My ingredients were all simple, specially the filling.
